Kevin, a 2017 graduate of the GM course (Master of Mechanics)
After doing my work-study at 3M Bricolage et Bâtiment in La Mure d'Isère (38), I joined the international Lam Research group.
After an intensive recruitment process, I was hired, and the company immediately enrolled me in an intensive English language course because,
upon graduating from college, my language skills were not sufficient for the international scope of my assignments. I am currently based in Meylan (38) but I travel a lot,
particularly for internal training or client assignments (Fremont, CA in Silicon Valley, Portland, OR, Taiwan, Austria, Italy...). My university education was interesting and, in particular, helped me
get into my current company! It also helped me develop a different way of thinking, which is useful to me in my daily work today.
However, I hardly do any hands-on mechanical work. I have a very decent salary for a first job, with annual raises (6% this year, for example), a company car,
and enjoy numerous benefits such as meal vouchers. In short, everything is going great for me.
