A professional Master's degree to prepare for a career in the nuclear industry in the fields of nuclear safety, radioactive waste and decommissioning.
The main aim of the Nuclear Engineering Master's program is to prepare graduates for careers as engineers in the nuclear industry. The Master's program provides a comprehensive 5-year post-graduate education covering every aspect from scientific fundamentals to industrial knowledge and skills. Ultimately, the student is equipped with a comprehensive background that will enable him/her to launch his/her career in the best possible conditions.
The teaching method is based on the principle of co-training with industry. This translates into :
a 4 to 6-month Master 1 internship
one year of Master 2 under a 12-month apprenticeship or professionalization contract
In all, students will have acquired 10 to 12 months' professional experience in the nuclear industry over a 24-month period. The Master's program also calls on the services of numerous industry experts, enabling students to acquire cutting-edge knowledge in nuclear engineering. Visits to industrial sites and industrial projects complete the training program.
