Academic Calendar

The academic calendar will be emailed to you before your arrival, and further details will be provided during the registration session (in September and January). Below are the key dates for an exchange year at our department.

Full-year students and first-semester students

First-semester classes begin in September and end in December or January. Exams are held in December and January.
Attendance is required for all practical sessions and exams ( ongoing assessment and final exam)


For exchange students enrolled in the first semester only, transcripts will be sent in March.
For full-year exchange students, transcripts for the first semester will be sent in March, and those for the second semester will be sent in July.

Full-time students and students in their second semester

Classes for the second semester begin in January and end in April or June. Exams are held in April, May, and June.

Attendance is required for all practical sessions and exams ( ongoing assessment and final exam)

Transcripts will be sent out in July.
 
Make-up Exams

"Second-chance " exams (make-up exams) are held during the semester forfirst-semester exams and starting in mid-June forsecond-semester exams. This provides students with a second opportunity to earn the ECTS credits they did not receive during the first exam session.

Students must notify the International Relations Office of the exams they wish to retake.
