Where should we go?

Erasmus Program

The Erasmus+ program focuses on student mobility for learning purposes, enabling participants to spend time abroad. This allows them to develop their knowledge of foreign languages and cultures, their sense of citizenship and belonging to the European Union, their skills and soft skills, as well as their professional and personal relationships. This program applies to most countries in the European Union.

Each department has its own Erasmus+ agreements. This means that PhITEM’s Erasmus+ agreements are reserved for students in the PhITEM department.

Outside the Erasmus program

There are also agreements outside Europe. Most of these are open to all members of the UGA and are therefore not limited to PhITEM students.

Destinations by field of study

The available destinations vary depending on your program of study. To find out which ones you’re eligible for, check out the interactive map on MoveON. Be sure to select the “UFR PhITEM” option.

Duration of the exchange

You can choose to study abroad for a full year or just one semester. Some of our partner institutions recommend studying abroad for a full year to avoid scheduling conflicts that can arise when studying abroad for just one semester (such as exams or the start of classes, and vice versa).

Please note: When selecting the universities to which you wish to apply, you must ensure that their course offerings will allow you to have your study abroad year recognized by our university upon your return.

Some information (curriculum, languages, requirements, etc.) is available on the MoveON interactive map below, but it is your responsibility to check the universities’ websites to confirm that the courses you are taking are indeed offered there.
