The site's scientific potential, the presence of major European research infrastructures and the region's quality of life have long attracted many students, researchers and teacher-researchers to Grenoble.
Today, more and more training courses are offered in English, to open them up to a wider international audience.

and the European School On Nanosciences and Nanotechnologies(ESONN).
These schools are joined by ESIPAP (European School of Instrumentation in Particle & Astroparticle Physics) and JUAS (Joint Universities Accelerator School).
