Experimental data acquisition and processing platform

This platform plays a triple role.

Teaching computer science

It takes over the traditional role of the IT pool, which was to provide IT courses for the Physics Department's departments. To this end, it provides these courses with the hardware and software required for the courses set out in the syllabus.

Student self-service

As all students have an e-mail address, the ATIDE platform must also provide self-service access to computer facilities, enabling students to consult their e-mail, carry out Internet searches and bibliographic research, as well as do personal work related to computer science courses.

Harmonizing equipment

As part of CESIRE, the ATIDE platform coordinates and harmonizes all the IT resources available on the other CESIRE platforms. This harmonization is designed to enable students to process and analyse measurements taken during practical work on any workstation. To achieve this goal, students must be able to find the software they use in practical work on all the computers at their disposal, and, in practical work, they must be able to find the software they learn to use in IT lessons.
